
The Department of Mathematics congratulates Dr. John Streese, Assistant Instructional Professor, on receiving the 2025–26 College Teaching Award from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
The award recognizes excellence in undergraduate teaching and advising. Dr. Streese serves as coordinator of Calculus and contributes to the department’s undergraduate teaching mission through course coordination, instructional development, and mentoring of instructors and teaching assistants. His teaching has also been recognized within the department with the Marvel Townsend Lecturer Award.
We thank Dr. Streese for his continued dedication to undergraduate education.
