Professor Alladi Receives International Educator Award

Professor Krishna Alladi has received the 2025 CLAS International Educator Award (Senior Faculty) in recognition of his long-standing and influential contributions to UF’s global engagement.

Professor Alladi has played a major international leadership role in advancing the legacy of Srinivasa Ramanujan. Since 2003, he has organized the Annual Ramanujan International Conference at SASTRA University in India, bringing together mathematicians from around the world. He also chairs the SASTRA Ramanujan Prize Committee, which awards one of the most prestigious early-career prizes in mathematics, and he founded The Ramanujan Journal, now a leading international journal in number theory.

Beyond these efforts, Professor Alladi has contributed to mathematics program development in the Middle East, served as an invited speaker at major international events — including the Royal Society’s 2018 conference honoring Ramanujan — and received an honorary doctorate from SASTRA University in 2022. His work has significantly strengthened UF’s international visibility and impact.
