MAD6406/7 Exams

The exams for MAD6406 and MAD 6407 can be taken at two levels.
The exam for one of the courses can be taken as a substitute for another first year exam after a successful petition to the Graduate Committee.
As a PhD exam, the exam on both courses must be taken together in one sitting.
In both cases, the syllabi is the same, but the mode of grading will differ:

  • Syllabus for MAD 6406 Numerical Linear Algebra
  • Syllabus for MAD 6407 Numerical Analysis
